Amritsar Tour
Day 1 — Delhi to Amritsar: The Grand Departure
- Departure at 4:30 AM from Delhi (Kashmere Gate / Majnu ka Tilla / Karol Bagh) by AC Traveller Bus.
- Breakfast halt at 8:00 AM near Ambala or Kurukshetra — aloo paratha, lassi, and chai at a highway dhaba.
- Arrive Amritsar by 12:30 PM, check into hotel near the Golden Temple area and freshen up.
- Evening visit to Jallianwala Bagh with guided narration of the 1919 tragedy.
- Attend the breathtaking evening Palki Sahib ceremony at the Golden Temple.
- Dinner at hotel. Overnight stay in Amritsar.
Day 2 — Amritsar Sightseeing: History, Spirit & Wagah Border
- 5:00 AM — Golden Temple sunrise darshan, Pratah Hukamnama, and Aasa Di Vaar hymns.
- Breakfast at hotel, followed by a visit to Durgiana Temple (Laxmi Narayan Temple).
- Visit Gobindgarh Fort — heritage shows, weapons gallery, and live cultural performances.
- Lunch at a local restaurant — Amritsari kulcha, lassi, and fish.
- Evening stroll through Hall Bazaar and Katra Jaimal Singh for Phulkari dupattas and Punjabi juttis.
- 5:00 PM — Depart for Wagah Border (28 km) for the electrifying Beating Retreat ceremony.
- Dinner — butter chicken, saag, makki di roti, and Punjabi sweets. Overnight stay.
Day 3 — Day Excursion & Leisure: Explore Beyond the City
- Breakfast at hotel, then depart for the day excursion (choose one option based on group preference).
- Option A — Visit Anandpur Sahib: Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib and the world-class Virasat-e-Khalsa museum.
- Option B — Visit Tarn Taran Sahib Gurudwara, one of the largest Gurudwaras in the world (25 km from Amritsar).
- Lunch en route at a local Punjabi eatery.
- Return to Amritsar by evening. Free time for shopping on Lawrence Road — papads, achaar, juttis, and Phulkari handicrafts.
- Special farewell dinner at a haveli-style restaurant with live Punjabi folk music, pinni, and gur wali chai.
- Overnight stay — last night in Amritsar.
Day 4 — Amritsar to Delhi: Homeward Bound
- 5:30 AM — Optional final visit to the Golden Temple for a quiet, peaceful farewell darshan.
- Breakfast at hotel and checkout by 7:30 AM.
- Board the Sidhu Tour & Travel AC bus by 8:00 AM sharp for the return journey to Delhi.
- Lunch stop at 12:30 PM near Karnal or Panipat at a highway restaurant.
- Arrive Delhi at designated drop points by 5:00 PM.
- Trip ends with memories, stories, and the flavours of Punjab. Sat Sri Akal! 🙏
