Day 1 — Delhi to Jim Corbett: Where the Jungle Begins

Departure at 5:00 AM from Delhi (Kashmere Gate / Majnu ka Tilla / Anand Vihar) by AC Traveller Bus / Private Car.
Breakfast halt at 8:00 AM near Moradabad or Rampur — paratha, omelette, and chai at a popular highway dhaba.
Cross the Kosi river bridge and enter the Jim Corbett buffer zone — the landscape shifts from plains to dense sal forests, and excitement builds in the bus.
Arrive Jim Corbett (Ramnagar) by 11:30 AM. Check into jungle resort / hotel near the park.
Post lunch, visit Ramnagar Town and the Jim Corbett Museum at Kaladhungi (22 km) — the actual childhood home of legendary naturalist and hunter-turned-conservationist Jim Corbett. Fascinating memorabilia, photographs, and personal belongings on display.
Evening nature walk around the resort buffer zone — spot deer, peacocks, and jungle birds in their natural habitat.
Bonfire dinner at the resort with jungle sounds filling the night. Briefing by guide on safari rules and wildlife spotting tips.
Overnight stay at jungle resort in Corbett.

Day 2 — Jim Corbett: Jeep Safari & Jungle Exploration

5:30 AM — Early morning Jeep Safari in the Bijrani Zone or Jhirna Zone of Jim Corbett National Park. These zones are renowned for high tiger sighting probability and diverse wildlife.
Keep your eyes peeled for Royal Bengal Tiger, Asian Elephant, Leopard, Gharial, King Cobra, Sambar Deer, Chital, Wild Boar, and over 600 species of birds including the Great Hornbill and Crested Serpent Eagle.
Safari lasts approximately 3 hours with an expert naturalist guide and certified forest department driver.
Return to resort by 9:00 AM. Breakfast at resort — hot and hearty after the morning chill.
Post breakfast rest and leisure time. Explore the resort grounds, birdwatch from the lawn, or simply soak in the jungle atmosphere.
Lunch at resort.
Afternoon — visit Garjiya Devi Temple (8 km from Ramnagar) — a beautiful riverside temple perched on a large rock in the middle of the Kosi River, dedicated to Goddess Girija. Sacred and scenic in equal measure.
Evening — Elephant Safari or Nature Trail in the buffer zone (subject to availability and season).
Dinner at resort with a cultural folk music performance arranged by Sidhu Tour & Travel. Overnight stay.

Day 3 — Jim Corbett: Dhikala Zone — The Crown Jewel of the Park

5:00 AM — Depart for the Dhikala Zone — the largest and most iconic zone of Jim Corbett National Park, deep inside the core area. Entry requires prior permit (arranged by Sidhu Tour & Travel).
Dhikala is set in a vast open grassland (chaur) along the Ramganga Reservoir — the views are absolutely spectacular. Tigers, elephants, and hundreds of birds are regularly sighted here.
Full day Canter Safari (shared government vehicle) through Dhikala — covers deep forest trails, river banks, and open meadows. Lunch packed by the resort.
Spot Ramganga Reservoir — one of the most beautiful water bodies inside any Indian national park. Crocodiles and Gharials sun themselves on the banks while Kingfishers dart across the water.
Return from Dhikala Zone by 6:00 PM (strict park timings enforced).
Dinner at resort. Share wildlife photographs and sighting stories around the bonfire. Overnight stay at Corbett resort.

Day 4 — Corbett to Nainital or Ramnagar Local: Hills & Lakes

Breakfast at resort. Checkout by 9:00 AM.
Two options available based on group preference and time.
Option A — Drive to Nainital (approx. 65 km, 2 hours). Check into hotel. Visit Naini Lake — enjoy a shikara boat ride on the famous emerald lake. Take the Cable Car to Snow View Point for Himalayan vistas. Evening stroll on The Mall Road — browse woollens, candles, and local jams. Dinner and overnight stay in Nainital.
Option B — Stay in Corbett region and visit Corbett Waterfall (25 km from Ramnagar) — a beautiful 20-metre waterfall tucked inside the forest. Visit Sitabani Wildlife Reserve — a buffer zone outside the main park, perfect for a relaxed nature walk without a permit. Visit Kosi Barrage — a popular birdwatching spot where hundreds of migratory and resident birds gather along the river. Evening bonfire dinner at resort and overnight stay in Corbett.

Day 5 — Return to Delhi: Back to the City, Forever Changed

5:30 AM — Optional sunrise birdwatching walk along the Kosi riverbank — the golden morning light and chorus of jungle birds make for a magical farewell to Corbett.
Breakfast at hotel / resort and checkout by 7:30 AM.
Board the Sidhu Tour & Travel AC Bus / Car by 8:00 AM for the return journey to Delhi.
Brief scenic drive through Kaladhungi and Ramnagar town. The foothills slowly give way to the plains as the jungle fades behind.
Lunch halt at 12:30 PM near Moradabad or Rampur — a proper sit-down meal at a well-known highway dhaba or restaurant.
Optional stop at Amroha or Gajraula for local sweets and snacks to carry back home.
Arrive Delhi at designated drop points (Kashmere Gate / Anand Vihar / Karol Bagh) by 6:00 PM.
Trip concludes with tiger pugmarks in your memory and the roar of the jungle still echoing in your heart. Go Wild, Stay Wild! 🐯

Safari Zone Guide — Jim Corbett National Park

Bijrani Zone — Best for tiger sightings. Dense mixed forest. Open October to June.
Jhirna Zone — Only zone open year round. Good for leopard and elephant sightings.
Dhikala Zone — Crown jewel of the park. Open mid-November to June. Requires advance permit. Best for overall wildlife and landscape.
Sitabani Buffer Zone — No permit required. Ideal for birdwatching and relaxed nature walks.
Durga Devi Zone — Best for birdwatching. Located in the northeastern part of the park.

Best Time to Visit

November to February — Cool weather, dry forest, excellent wildlife visibility and birdwatching.
March to June — Peak summer, best tiger sighting season as animals gather near water sources.
July to September — Monsoon season. Dhikala and most zones remain closed. Jhirna Zone stays open.
